Our journey started humbly when Matt's interest in horticulture was sparked during high school. Growing and cultivating plants in the high school's greenhouse while working for a landscape nursery installer during high school ignited his passion for plants and landscaping. This led to formal education in ornamental horticulture and landscape management at Delaware Valley University, where he earned a four-year Bachelor’s degree that further equipped him with the knowledge and expertise needed to thrive in the field.
After college, Matt gained valuable experience in the Virginia and Maryland DC area, working at the National Zoo and for the owner of the Washington Football Team. When Matt returned home, he brought a vision to create something truly special. Armed with a wealth of experience and a genuine connection to the community, he established Cook's Horticulture & Landscape Services to serve the needs of both residential and commercial clients.
